The DD2 provides cyclists with a Direct Drive ceramic setup, featuring an improved version of the Direct Drive integrated Bottom Bracket that Sugino claims decreases rolling resistance by 30%!

The high precision ceramic system provides amazingly smooth rotational performance, whilst also increasing the strength and stiffness of the unit by integrating with the DD2 Crankset

Installation

You will require the following tools to install this product on your frame

• 8mm Allen Key/Hex Tool Large Allen Key

• Anti-Seize Compound - Weldtite TF2 Lithium Grease or Park Tools ASC-1 - Anti-Seize Compound

• Lubricant - Weldtite TF2 Teflon Grease or Park Tools HPG-1 - High Performance Grease

• Outboard Bottom Bracket Tool - Park Tool BBT-9 - External Cup BB and Hollowtech II Tool

The following video is an excellent video from Park Tools showing the process of installing a Outboard Bottom Brackets and Chainsets on a Road Frame.
