The Forest City Velodrome went from concept to reality in just a little over four months. Late in 2004, Rob Good and Albert Coulier presented the idea of an indoor track to be built in the south end of London.

The only velodrome in the province of Quebec is located in Bromont, Qc - about 1 hour drive from Montreal, Qc and it is owned by the Centre National de Cyclisme de Bromont (Bromont's National Cycling Centre). The CNCB's velodrome is the old outdoor track from the 1996 Atlanta Olympics purchased by the government of Quebec back in early 2000.

The CNCB offers introductionnary courses (101, 201 & 301) to beginners as well as training session for elite athletes as well as non-elite athletes. They also have free training session that are welcomed to riders from every levels. The track is UCI approved so some serious competition potential is available.
